Settling on their 63-acre farm, they welcome their eighth child and enjoyed raising their children, many animals, and crops.

Active over 50 years as an attorney, Donald practiced in 45 of Ohio’s 88 counties and specialized in real estate and probate law. He also had the honor to sit as acting judge in various courts during his professional career. Janet worked as his secretary in his Xenia office for many years.

While raising the children and farming, Donald was actively involved with the Greene County 4-H program. He was a parishioner at St. Augustine Catholic Church since 1968 where he served on the parish council, sang with the choir, lectured, and distributed the Holy Eucharist.
